Woman Scream 2019-London-UK

The Canvas Café E1 located in 42 Hanbury Street, E1 5JL, London-UK, has hosted its very own poetry/performance open mic night as part of the Woman Scream International Poetry and Arts Festival 2019, Under the theme of 'I Scream for Me'.

The event was celebrated last march 23 starting at 19:30 hrs. there was an open mic event where the public (Mostly women) could share, scream  and dance, among them: Poetry Performance, Spoken Word, singers and free poetry expression according to the theme.

There was a special appearance from Rabia Kapoor.

The Woman Scream International Poetry and Arts Festival (Grito de Mujer®) is a worldwide chain of events celebrated in March, where institutions, poets and artists of different countries volunteer to raise their voices in solidarity with victims of gender violence.

This is the first time the Canvas Cafe has joined this worldwide event.
