Woman Scream 2016 opening and 1st. International Encounter of Women Poets International Movement 
-MADRID-SPAIN-

 (March 4th to 6th, 2016)



Women Poets International Movement (Mujeres Poetas Internacional MPI Inc) based at the Dominican Republic, announces that the city of Madrid, will host of the main opening event of the worldwide chain of Woman Scream International Poetry and Arts Festival 2016 (Grito de Mujer), under the theme “Desert Flowers”, for being Spain one of the top contributors to the WS cause.  Events will take place from march 4th  to 6th, at the Centro Cultural Buenavista. Woman Scream-Madrid will include an Expo, Poetry and music recitals, theater presentations, and the publishing of a Spanish poetry anthology of the encounter among Madrid participant poets (for a collective contribution fee).

MPI movement also refers to the 1st MPI International Encounter with Spanish speaking fellows, collaborators and followers of the movement, and friends of the Grito de Mujer cause. This encounter will be a gala dinner on Saturday, March 5, at 21 am (9 pm) in the ballroom of RafaelHoteles Ventas 4*, were MPI collaborators will receive a special certificate in gratitude for their support to the cause, and outstanding contributors will receive special recognition for their previous cooperation in last years. Woman Scream, and its simultaneous global chain of events in tribute to women and against violence, it will be celebrated throughout the month of March 2016 in about 40 countries, and will pay tribute to the Iranian Soraya Manutchehri, and all the women victims of absurd ancient practices such as ablation, stoning, acid attacks, among other, that still keep women of the 21st century in obscurantism.
